(More customer reviews)I bought this item without reading the description carefully, and thought I was getting a genuine HP cartridge.It's not.
When installed, the cartridge fits properly, and the printer prints, but there is a line of "smudges" along the left hand margin.The instructions that come with the cartridge say that such things might occur, but that they will disppear after printing 10 pages.They don't.
The cleaning feature built into the printer doesn't help either.
Fortunately, I only use this printer to print drafts at my desk, and have other printer choices on my network.
