If you do regular printing - simple forms, invoices, etc. and don't print a lot of greyscale, like photos and such, you can easily get 36,000 to 42,000 pages. When you start to get streaking or little sploches or dots of toner, then replace. I have done this many times and it doesn't hurt a thing as long as you have a new drum ready to go when the defects show up. Save some money & the environment!
