(More customer reviews)I purchased my printer in February 2009 and I believe that I have had to replace the regular size black ink cartridge at least three times.I would say that my print load is average.This time (the third time) I decided to get the XL size. I put it in April 10th and now (May 10th) the ink level is at 3/4. I am sure that with the regular size catridge I would be getting ready to change the cartridge again.I also like that the price via amazon was significantly cheaper than purchasing from staples or target. And it arrived quickly.I recommend using the XL no matter what, so that you don't have to change so often. I also recommend this vendor based on my experience with them.
